During times of change we need places for retreat and ways to recenter.  Nature is a powerful ally.  There is a balm of loving presence available here as we awaken in ourselves.

Earthwalk Ways is a Nature Retreat that is buffered by the forest and wild lands along  the Rappahannock River that are under conservation easement. There are over 4,000 acres of Riverine Greenbelt space accessed from our retreat.

We border a tributary of the River, I call Enchanting Run.  It is a magical meander with out trails along the edges where the creek meets the forest, crossing the creek where the rocks are close together, climbing over logs and under brush.  Moderate fitness and an adventurous spirit is required to walk to the River.

There are hundreds of faery hide aways and amazing contemplative spaces along the way for you to be still and watch the ever flowing movement of the light and shadow or the breeze or flow of the stream.

Take your time and bring a walking stick, the creek is like a labyrinth and can lead you to your inner center.

We are only 20 minutes from Fredericksburg where there are lots of historical places and local artisan shops, as well as good restaurants.  But most people come here to give all that a rest.  Nestled away inside a tall Beech and Hardwood fern forest, along a bold stream you can find your place to nestle too.

Following Enchanting Run down Little Wilderness Canyon to the River, you discover Turkey Island,  just across from the confluence of the creek.  You can fish, swim, wade,  float and paddle on the river.  It is a perfect summer adventure.

Our main mission is to provide a place and programs that allow people to more deeply connect with nature and themselves and let go of the programmed colonized ways we are living that are not serving us.

These teachings and programs are offered in various ways individually and in groups, at the retreat and on line.  See more on upcoming programs here on the events page or follow me on Humanitix here. Click Here →
